Millenials Drive Mobile Web 2.0 Technologies

I know that the past several blogs have been on the behalf of encouraging technical schools to update their teaching on computers.  I hate to constantly repeat this, but there are articles constantly showing how important for schools to teach the most updated materials.

I personally do not like to write things in a negative manner.  I hope that what I write in resolve to having these schools update their curriculum is in a respectable manner.  I can get upset with thing as all of us do, but I never like to show hate or any thing of the sort.  What I will do is protect the underdog.  Enlighten others to life a better life so they can enjoy their lives with freedom and harmony of their own choosing.

The reason to even write this posting is to state this simple thing, all forms of new technologies are popping up all over the place.  It is about time that post-secondary schools start to teach what is out there now!  Surely businesses would want new fresh employees to know how to use this technologies.

Wireless technology is already being used on a hourly basis.  All sorts of new types of hand devices are popping up and are being used now by millions of companies.  I would like to be able to go back to school that will teach me how to use these new and serious important technologies.  If I do not start to learn how to use these devices, then I could end up behind the times.  In getting a career in the computer field, that is not a good trend to down on.

The Pros and Cons of Website CMS (Part One) : Church Communications Pro | Church Website Design | Church Marketing

I cannot express myself enough on the importance of schools teaching on the subject of Content Management Systems.  Nearly if not all are using it already.  What I have read on the issues or problems with using CMS is the knowledge of how to really use it.  CMS is not the same as doing a static website.  If you want all departments or ministries of a church to be a part of the church's website, then they must learn how to design a website.

With CMS, there is not special knowledge of adding text, pictures, or other media format.  This also gives the web master more time to do his/her job on with other task.  Each department or ministry is responsible for the content on the page they are working on.  As with everything, there are disadvantages or cons to CMS.  I have not yet read any cons to using CMS in web design other then perhaps if there will be only one to a few people working on the website.

CMS is a management system.  It was designed for a great deal of people doing things on a website.  With a small website, there is not all that much to manage.  With websites like Amazon, there is indeed a great deal to manage.  I have read there are thousands of people constantly working on that website.

If a business, church, or whomever does not know how to fully use CMS, then they may have more issues to deal with.  Surely a system that will help manage complex website will not start out to be an easy thing to use.  As with anything in life, a foundation must be established.

Even it does take a bit to set up a CMS website according what CMS service one uses, it is very important to use CMS.  If I have to spend too much time on a website just to use it, then I will go somewhere else.  CMS allows one to walk through a complex website without getting lost or confused.  CMS also allows a true interaction with both consumer and business. Static websites really cannot do this, or they might have a lot spam in their email box.

In the 21st Century, the Internet is all about communication.  One needs to allow a two-way communication with less confusion and other issues that one may face.  CMS does this.  It makes a complex issue into something simple, or simpler then with out it.  All business has structure in how they do things.  They may expect their employees to act or do things a certain way.  CMS is structured system that allows things to be done online, usually through a website, with greater easy that cannot be done on a static website.

In order for employees to use CMS, this subject must be taught in schools.  Videos that you may see online on how to use CMS is usually the basics on how to use CMS.  We all have to start somewhere, but there is a lot more to anything then the basics.  The Internet is here to stay and it is growing and growing constantly. If schools do not teach the most updated information, then the students will not get the job that are out there for the 21 Century and beyond.

Learn the Benefits of a Website Content Management System - AOL Video

This is a very simple but great video on CMS.  I believe that static websites are the thing of the past already.  More and more business websites are running on a two way street.  Business strive on having their customers communicate with them when needed.  True, there are some websites that do not allow their customers to communicate with them.  I do personally do not call a "fill out form" a means of communicating with your customers.  How do I know they will read what I wrote?

Since CMS is so big in the 21 Century NOW, that is why I have written two blogs (http://xrl.in/5k4 and http://xrl.in/5k5) in asking why schools are not teaching about CMS.  If CMS is taking over how we design web pages, then students need to be prepared to teach this very important subject.  In this posting and the other two, I have not been bitter towards any school system or anyone particular.  I write these type blog posting to encourage others not to insult them.  Throwing insults will not change on thing.

Instead, through all the facts that I know and the research that I have come up with, I shine the light on how to improve on the subject that is being presented.   I leave it to the ones that knows how to do this job.  I cannot tell them how to do their job.  Even if I had that knowledge, I would not interfere.  That would be ever so rude, and will surely turn off people.  One cannot enlighten and turn off at the same time.

I know that the economy is not great in the USA.  I also know that it cost a lot of money for schools to do their best in keeping up with all the very fast growing technical world.  I also know that thing at first seem to be the trend of technology and turn out to be not that way in a few years.  With CMS, just about all businesses use it.  I get tons of RSS Feeds on this subject on a daily basis.  In fact, I am getting more and more information as the days come and go.  I have seen many videos and audio messages stating how CMS is a needed thing online.

Since the social networking is so big online with YouTube, MySpace, Twitter, and many others, businesses are more of need to have CMS then every before.  Content Management Systems is more then a means of communicating on a two way street.  It is allowing websites to be created with great easy and still have all the complexities needed to design website.  This blog is dedicated on the fact of the future of web design.  CMS is a great deal part of the future of web design.

If what I say is not convincing to you, then do research on CMS.  You will be surprised what you read.  In this blog I have links, RSS Feeds, and other information for all to read.  The feeds will update on its own, so please come to this blog often.  I also constantly write on new things I find online.  To be sociable online, one must communicate online.  I welcome all to post comments on any of my blog postings.  Never know, you can say something about what is being presented more then I ever could.  The wonder of socialization online is teamwork.

Congress to like Google's censor-handling proposal? | Coop's Corner : A Blog from Charlie Cooper - CNET News.com

As usual, the people that are working on the problem goes around the bush in finding the solution.  The solution is right in front of them.  Would a parent or guardian leave a child on the streets all by themselves?

The answer is no.  Then why would parents or guardians allow children to surf the Internet?  The so called software the protects children online is a load of BUNK!!  They simply do not work.  If children have to be online for a class research or whatever, then they SHOULD BE SUPERVISED!!  I am not talking about sticking your head every now and then to see what they are up to.  I am talking about being with them from the time they are surfing the web to the time they stop.

Instead of making laws and other stupid regulations for all, government should make parents more responsible for their own children.  If parents or guardians do not to their jobs as they should, whatever that make be, then they should be punished for it.  If children cannot defend themselves on the streets by themselves, how can they do so online?  If the law really has not jurisdiction  in the homes of these families, then the law should make EVERY parent accountable for their children's actions and behaviors.

Why punish everyone.  Not everyone has children.  I would not doubt the ones that are making the biggest fuss over censorship online is the one that thinks that the Internet is evil.  DUH!!  The Internet is not evil.  The Internet is simply a tool to communicate all over the world and it seems to be growing faster then anything known to mankind.

Another issue I want to state:  "Why are the United States of America's government interfering on the behalf of the world?  Who are they to tell others how to live on or off line?  Instead the US Congress should be allowing the parents or guardians to do their jobs.  If they do not, then they should punish those in the USA ONLY!!!  The First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America, give us the right to free speech, on or off line.

If I do not like a certain television show, I change the channel.  I have not right to dictate that is should be removed from being shown if millions of people watch it.  Yes, they are number of things online that are not appropriate to be showing, but they would not be showing it if there was not audience.  The solution to censoring the Internet CANNOT be done on a global scale.  It must be done with a one-on-one basis.  The home is the only place this can be truly accomplished.

Why decentralizing Twitter is hopeless (Scripting News)

I can remember all the fears people had when PC first came out.  They feared that people will steal their money from banks.   Remember that PCs came out in 1980 (Comodore Pet, Radio Shack TSR 80, and Apple II).  Public access to the Internet was not until 1993.  That was not the only thing they feared about these computers. The big fear was job loss.   The only thing that is hurting getting a job is not technology, but whom we vote into our government.

When the Internet did come, came new fears.  Now with public communications like IM, online chat rooms, MySpace, Twitter, etc., people are showing even more fears.   There is a lot of fear going on with no evidence to prove that these things people fear are real.  The Y2K junk never happened.  Yes, there are crimes online, but that does not mean we should pack all the technologies and hind in a corner.

Twitter is a fast growing thing online.  A number of companies are using it now.  Millions upon millions of people are using twitter on a minute my minute basis.  Twitter will not go away if we simply ignore it.  Neither will any of our technologies.  In five or so years, there will be something else new online.  Global communication online is here to stay.  It is growing faster then anything on Earth.  It cannot be stopped or truly controlled.   I am happy that there are TOS (Term of Service) on these online services.

For me, I see a great potential for employers to get to know future employees.  The formal atmosphere in getting a job is super and all, but how much are job recruiters learning about the applicants?  Sometimes too much order is a pain.  Twitter is a means of letting others know who you really are without giving out giving too much information that can cause our identity to be stolen.

Being online is no different then walking the streets.  For many, many years people have communicated face-to-face in public so all can see and hear, but their was no "identity stolen" issues as it is online.  Why is this?  Can someone still my identity by me giving my own name?  Full names have been given in public numerous times.  The issue with using the Internet is common sense.

The Internet is not for the meek or children.  Parents would you send out your children onto the streets by themselves?  When you allow them to use the Internet without you being with them, you are doing just that.  The Internet is not a bad place.  As with anything else, it is how you use it.  There are a lot of porn sites online, but that is a very small fraction of all the great stuff that one can use online, including twitter.

The next question I am sure everyone has asked and will ask, why twitter in the first place?  If that question is asked in a negative manner, then why do we email, IM (Instant Message), and other forms of communicate online?  Twitter is a new form of communicating online.  It surpasses all other form of online communications.  Please watch this video and see for yourself.

If one thinks that twitter is another form of chat room or IM, then one needs to know more about twitter.  It is much, much more then a simple communication device online.  You can do things that you could not do in a chat room or IM.  Since Twitter is new, it does not have all the features that it can have.  Remember the first time you wrote a blog?  It was so basic and plain.  Now one can blog in so many different ways.

Right now with twitter, it is how you use it, or I should say what software you use to operate in twitter.   The best software that I have found to date is twhril.  It can do all sorts of things.  Here is a super video on how to use twhril.

PR Squared: Get Into Twitter or Get Outta Public Relations?

I cannot get over how wonderful things have become online.  If there was a such thing as the "Golden Age," then this time we live in would be it.  We can communicate with anyone anywhere at any time.

So many have said that how you present yourself online is very important because it can effect your live outside the Internet.  I can rightfully state that the Internet has everything to do with real life.  We can do things online that might not be possible elsewhere.

I have been with twitter for just small time of this posting.  I have seen a great deal so far.   With twitter feed, I can send the RSS Feeds that I entered into my Google Reader account and have them put through my twitter account.  Before twitter, I shared some of the feeds I have read through writing about them with a link to them on my blogs.  Now I can share the same feeds I read to all that follows me on twitter.

Hopefully this will give me more time to not only read my RSS Feeds, but have time to do other things as well.  I am also am ready to start my career in the computer field or even writing.  That is why I have so many blogs.  I love to write, write, and write.  With twitter, I can share all my new blog posting and stories that I am writing on Fanfiction & Fictionpress.  With these accounts one can set up an RSS Feed to check on updates.

As twitter grows, I am sure there will be wonderful things that can be done on it.  There might be more already.  I did say that I was new with twitter.

PR Squared: Get Into Twitter or Get Outta Public Relations?

Google to launch Friend Connect for the social Web | Outside the Lines - CNET News.com

How wonderful the Internet is today in the 21st Century.  We can do things that I do not think could ever be done outside the Internet.  The means of communicating online has grown dramatically.  The most recent system that I have signed up on is twitter at http://twitter.com/Frater_Phoenix.   Due to it and the ability to push the RSS Feeds, I do not have to spend time using a RSS Reader.  I am also share these feeds with anyone that follows me on my twitter account.

In this article the writer explains why so many companies push their products so quickly.  I believe if they do put their products on line soon, they will be left behind.  Things are moving way to fast for anyone to hesitate.  There is one thing in putting a product with tons of bugs and another being too slow and have their customers keep waiting and waiting.  Also having more and more socialize systems will help the ones that are up and running not being so bogged down.

Think of it this way:  Let's say New York City had only one gas station or one pharmacy.  That business would be so overwhelmed they really could not operate.  Sometimes MySpace can have so many login customers that it can be a pain to use.  The more variety that is out there online, the better for all of us.  Just remember what and how you present yourself online is just as important as how you present yourself offline.

I do not think there can be enough said about this issue.  As everything else in life, it is how you are raised in the home, but then that is not excuse.  Proper behavior is very important.  Even though one may use a different name online, someone will find out who is behind the mask.  A lot of people have lost their jobs and their dignity by bad conduct online.  I think a person can show a nude photo of oneself and still show humility and integrity.

It is not what is being shown, but how one shows it.  With the all out means of communicating online, the definition of how one conducts oneself will change constantly.  What ever rules are out there if one relies on humility and integrity, then they will do great online.  As I said so many times, "It all starts in the home."

Blessed Be to Isis and you,

Brandon
